India is a land that celebrates the beauty of life. It is a country filled with colours, festivities, and hope. The soul of the country is its richly diverse culture, which is honoured by every citizen. It is the responsibility of every educational institute to teach the present generation of children the value of culture and traditions. Our school is in the same direction. At Nypunya, we aim to blend traditions with sustainable living.
“The greatest threat to our planet is the belief that someone else will save it”.– Robert Swan
Our school encourages the students to be the ones who will save our planet. As a part of the ‘Go Green’ initiative, the school organized a session on molding eco-friendly Ganesha on the occasion of Ganesha Chaturthi 2022.
On the bright sunny morning, the students had their creative hats on. The Ganesha idols were prepared using clay and other biodegradable substances. Some students had their idols with modaks while few others with a fine eye for design adorned the idols with molded flowers and jewellery. The students took these idols to their respective homes to celebrate the warmth of the festival with their loved families while spreading the message of sustainable living.
