Raksha Bandhan is one of the most endearing ways to celebrate the bond between brothers and sisters. The bonding between a brother and a sister is simply unique and is beyond description in words. The relationship between siblings is extraordinary and is given importance in every part of the world. Raksha Bandhan or Rakhi is a special occasion to celebrate this emotional bonding. The sister ties a holy thread around the wrist of her brothers. This thread with sisterly love is rightly called the Rakhi since it means” a bond of protection.”
To strengthen this bond, Nypunya School of Excellence conducted ‘Rakhi Celebrations’ at the campus. Students from all classes participated in the celebrations and tied the colourful rakhi’s to their brothers. The event was celebrated with full enthusiasm and zeal. NSE believes that such celebrations of festivals with true spirit teach students about our Indian traditions.
The new age Raksha Bandhan emphasises both sisters and brothers protecting, helping and loving each other for a better tomorrow.
